Jimmy Jacobs’ reputation for building beautiful custom homes in Central Texas speaks for itself. For over 30 years, he has been behind some of the most successful and sought after new home developments in Georgetown. Now joined by his son, Justin Jacobs, Jimmy has launched Grand Endeavor Homes and is once again bringing his expertise in building and design to new homes in Georgetown and beyond.

Our Team

Jimmy Jacobs

President​

Jimmy is one of Central Texas’ best-known and most respected business leaders. He has been building homes in Central Texas since the 1980’s and he has become synonymous with exceptional service in the commercial and residential building industries. Jimmy is a native Texan and has been a resident of Georgetown since 1969. His reputation for building high quality, beautiful homes is unmatched. Jimmy is also well known for his willingness to give back to the community.

Justin Jacobs

Vice President of Purchasing

​Justin has home building in his blood and has taken his thorough knowledge of the industry to the next level in this role. He is a graduate of Texas State University and has experience in various aspects of construction and business. At Grand Endeavor Homes, he manages all of the estimating and oversees day to day construction as well as planning long term growth. ​

Shelley Ledyard

Chief Financial Officer

Shelley has worked in the residential home building business for 22 years in the Austin/Georgetown area. This includes working with both privately-held and publicly-owned homebuilders and land developers. She has been responsible for all financial and reporting aspects during that time. Prior to entering the homebuilding industry, she worked for six years at two large public accounting firms. Shelley is a graduate of Baylor University and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1988.​

Tom Tucker

Vice President of Construction

Tom oversees all aspects of construction for Grand Endeavor Homes. He is a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a degree in Business Administration.  He has had many roles in the industry, from customer relations manager to a custom build on your lot construction manager and everything in between.  Tom knows the do’s and don’ts of the day-to-day operations, and he understands how to adapt so the projects get completed correctly. He recognizes exactly how to manage the small details and the big picture of each home.  Tom is also involved with business development and operations.  Saturday’s in the fall you will find him in Kyle Field watching the Aggies or in the field hunting.  All of the other months he enjoys golfing, projects around the house, boating and just being busy with his wife and two dogs.​​

Brian Gustison

Director of Construction – Austin Area

Brian has been building homes for over 20 years. He is a native Texan who graduated from Western Illinois University with a degree in Engineering. He has recently returned to his home state of Texas, and is ready to use his knowledge and expertise building homes throughout Central Texas. Brian enjoys spending his time off with his wife, Heather, and their two children, Brooklynn and Jackson.

Matti Pope

Marketing Director

​Matti has worked in marketing and public relations in Central Texas since 2009. She holds a BBA in  Marketing from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She has experience in graphic design and marketing in various industries, including manufacturing, career development, transportation and construction. Matti manages the marketing materials, social media, website and signage for Grand Endeavor Homes. She is also involved in the business operations and customer side of the home building process.​​​​

Maurine Janke

Contract Manager

Maurine has worked in the residential home building industry for 17 years in the Georgetown/Austin area.  She has worked with both publicly owned and privately held home builders.  She has been responsible for the majority of accounting and HR functions.  Maurine is a UT-Austin graduate and enjoys beekeeping and working on her farm.

Rebecca Irby

Purchasing Coordinator

Rebecca has worked in the residential construction and design industry since 2003. She is a graduate of Texas State University with a B.S. degree in Family & Consumer Sciences. Purchasing allows her to do what she loves: working with customers and being an integral part of each home build from start to finish! Rebecca enjoys DIY projects, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Dylan Hammers

Purchasing Coordinator  

Dylan has been in the Central Texas area since 2011, he is originally from Houston, Texas. He has worked in the construction industry since 2014. Dylan enjoys the creativeness that it takes to stay ahead in an evolving industry. He brings adaptivity, problem solving, and preventiveness to the home building process.

Kara Batesole

Permitting Coordinator  

Kara was born and raised in Georgetown and has been in the residential construction industry since 2017 (starting in the custom countertop industry). She enjoys a good challenge such as; beating deadlines and overcoming obstacles, all while providing excellent customer service along the way. Away from the office, she loves spending time outside by any body of water with her husband.

Tamara Flory

Purchasing Assistant

Tamara lived in the New Braunfels/San Antonio area for 6 years and the Georgetown and surrounding areas for the last 4 years. She has worked in the construction industry (fire and life safety) for 10 years. Her experience with accounting/invoice reconciliation and job research led her to the home building industry. Tamara enjoys the opportunity to see customers’ ideas and dreams for a dream home come to reality. Her attention to detail and ensuring the construction billing process goes smoothly are the most important qualities she brings to the building process. Tamara enjoys spending time with her dogs and helping the local military veteran community with her husband.

Jessica Johnson

Accounts Payable Clerk

Jessica is a native Texan born in Laredo. She has lived in the Central Texas area for over 30 years. Most of her experience has been in the tech industry where she learned the customer service and administrative skills that she uses in her current role. She worked briefly at an HVAC company and then at a fire suppression company. In her spare time, Jessica and her husband and enjoy going to festivals whether they be local or renaissance, going to fan conventions and volunteering.

Britton Hawes

Land Development Manager 

Britton is a Georgetown native and grew up immersed in the construction industry. Britton gained a B.S. in Construction Science from Texas A&M University; numerous internships and part-time jobs during this time helped support the knowledge and experience gained while in College Station. He spent 6-months working overseas with an international contractor where he helped oversee some of the building processes; here he figured out that the construction industry is about working the problems to produce a proper solution. Britton enjoys the process of seeing something so personal to so many people come to fruition. He enjoys the delayed gratification of seeing the end vision come to life. He enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking, and traveling. In the fall, Texas A&M Football and hunting takes up most of his off time, while the spring is usually time to travel to different places and watch Aggie baseball.

Brianna McCalla

Executive Assistant

Brianna is the Executive Assistant to the President, Jimmy Jacobs. She was born and raised here in Central Texas and is a graduate of Southwestern University in Georgetown. Prior to joining Grand Endeavor Homes she has worked alongside with Executives in a customer service oriented work environment for several years. Brianna thrives in an environment that has a practical approach to problem solving, is detail oriented, and has a passion for helping others achieve their goals. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family & friends, trying new food experiences, going to concerts, and spending time at the lake.

Rita Martinez

Office Coordinator

Rita is a native Georgetonian where she graduated from Georgetown High School and then attended Austin Community College. She was an employee/Police officer for Georgetown Police Department from 1991 to 2004. She then went to Iraq where she worked for the Department of Defense. From there she became an Operations Captain for the Williamson County Emergency Communications. Her career also includes time spent as a volunteer firefighter for Georgetown. Rita loves seeing customers excited about their new homes and is happy to be the smiling face people see when they walk into the office. She is a proud mom of a young Police Officer who works for Atascosa County Sheriffs Office. In her free time, Rita likes to read, cook, hike, attend UT football games, and do half marathons/races. She is heavily involved in her veterans group RWB, Celebration church and enjoys quality time with family and friends.

Melicia Schauble

Warranty Manager

Melicia hails from Alabama and attended the University of Alabama, during which time she became the first professional female boxer in the history of Alabama. Upon graduating from the University, she served in the United States Marine Corps, including a tour in Iraq. Melicia moved to Texas in 2012 and loves the area. She’s been in the construction industry serving as a warranty manager for 7 years. In her spare time, she enjoys real estate investing, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband, Greg, and two sons, Jesse and Jason.

Jimmy Warren

Build on Your Lot Specialist – Austin Area

Jimmy grew up in Georgetown and has been working with Build On Your Lot homeowners for 18 years. He has helped hundreds of families build their dream homes throughout his career. Jimmy loves meeting and helping new people and is very active in the community through volunteering and coaching. In his free time, Jimmy enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, exploring the outdoors, hunting and fishing with family and friends, and is a lifetime member at Crestview Baptist Church.

Racheal Dorr

Executive Sales Assistant

Racheal moved to Georgetown from Houston 12 years ago and hasn’t thought once about moving back! She started working for Grand Endeavor in 2019 and previously came from HOA property management. Her favorite part of the home building process is creating the clients’ forever home. Working in conjunction with Jimmy Warren, Racheal ensures the clients receive thorough details on the home building process in a timeframe that best suites their needs. She enjoys spending her extra time with her daughter (Sydney) and husband (Blayne).

Matt Deputy

Build on Your Lot Specialist – Austin Area

Matt has worked in the commercial and residential real estate sectors in the Greater Austin market for 8 years. He retired from the United States Air Force (USAF) in 2022 after 20 years of combined active duty and reserve service. Matt develops strong relationships with his clients and is driven to assist them in turning their visions in to beautiful custom homes. Matt is very active in the Georgetown community and enjoys coaching youth sports for his son and daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys sports, traveling with his wife and children, hunting and fishing.

Lindsey Ledyard

Build on Your Lot Sales Assistant – Austin Area

Lindsey was born and raised in the North Austin area and accomplished her dream of playing collegiate volleyball at The University of Tulsa and Angelo State University. She is a graduate of Angelo State, with her degree in Marketing. Her favorite part of working in the custom home building industry is being able to build relationships and being by the clients’ side through every step of the way, while helping turn a dream into a reality. Lindsey works hand in hand with the clients, the builders, and the main office to ensure a smooth transition from one process to the other. In her free time, Lindsey enjoys staying active, coaching club volleyball, traveling all over the world, and spending time with friends and family.

Tyler Richards

Superintendent – Austin Area

​Tyler spends most of his time overseeing the home building process and managing subcontractors. He is also not afraid to get his hands dirty and do whatever it takes to get the job done. He is a valuable resource for project management in maintaining continuity among all subcontractors.​​

Kyle Snow

Superintendent – Austin Area

Kyle was born and raised here in Central Texas and is a graduate of Texas State University. He has been in the construction industry since 2010 starting in commercial, moving to residential and then joining the Grand Endeavor team in 2018. As superintendent, Kyle coordinates the day-to-day operations of home building as well as communication with our clients to ensure the home of their dreams comes to life. He uses his knowledge and experience to think outside the box, adapt and overcome the challenges that arise with home building. In his free time Kyle enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his wife Lindsey and their young daughters.

Phil Walsh

Superintendent – Austin Area

Phil has been with Grand Endeavor Homes since 2019 and brings over 25 years of construction industry experience to the Grand Endeavor team. His background gives him a strong understanding of the entire building process. Phil values continued education and keeps himself knowledgeable of changing industry products as well as construction safety standards. He prides himself on providing quality workmanship to each customer, while making detailed communication and customer service his highest priorities. Phil has lived in Lago Vista for 18 years. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, spending time on the lake with his Wife and fishing with his son.

Brad Greenlee

Superintendent – Austin Area

A graduate of Texas A&M, Brad Greenlee has been in the Round Rock/Georgetown area since 2014.  As a student of the always changing construction industry, Brad is currently pursuing graduate studies at Louisiana State University. He enjoys working closely with homeowners to make the building process run as smoothly as possible, and has helped numerous families move into their dream home.  When not at work, you can find Brad in Kyle Field yelling for the Aggies, fly fishing, or spending time with his wife, Kalli.

Kyler Payne

Superintendent – Austin Area

Kyler has been in the construction industry for 12 years across various sectors. He started working with underground utility and roadway development for neighborhoods, then moved to the building supply industry, and finally to home building in 2016. He loves the fast paced, ever changing building environment. Ultimately, making people happy and giving them a home they love drives him to learn and adapt to new challenges each day. He prides himself on his work ethic and honesty. Kyler is a graduate of Tarleton State University where he majored in business marketing. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his wife Amanda, and hunting as much as possible. Kyler and his wife will soon be adding a baby boy to their family.

Chad Cornell

Superintendent – Austin Area

Chad grew up in Spring Texas. He attended college at the University of Texas. He is a Veteran who served our country in the Marine Corps. Chad has 25 years experience in both residential and commercial construction projects with a focus on custom homes. In his spare time, Chad coaches youth basketball. He enjoys hunting and fishing, spending time with his family and is an active member of his church.

Kyle Matthews

Superintendent – Austin Area

Kyle grew up in Illinois and decided to join the United States Army right out of high school. The military brought Kyle to Ft. Hood and that’s where his love for Texas began. After two contracts and a deployment, he decided that it was time to start a new career. Construction management is where he found his passion. Working as a superintendent for another builder helped gain him knowledge and skill within the field. He is very excited to be a part of the Grand Endeavor team. In his free time he loves to hunt, fish and spend time with his wife and son.

Felix Garcia

Superintendent – Austin Area

Felix is a life long Austinite. He moved to Round Rock in 1990 and graduated from Round Rock High School in 1999. He has been in and around the construction industry since he was very young, working with his father, a master electrician, where he would assist with various tasks. He then attended ACC earning an associate degree in network administration and a certificate in advanced networking. After graduating, he became a design lead for a prominent electrical contractor in the central Texas area for 7 years, primarily running a team of designers who helped homeowners select and design the electrical components of their new homes. He has also managed various renovation projects and worked as a construction manager with a small production builder. Felix’s favorite part of the home building process is seeing people’s thoughts and ideas come to fruition and knowing that he was a part of making it happen. He brings a strong work ethic, exemplary attention to detail and believes in creating a team atmosphere around each and every job. He has been married to his wife Casey for 21 years, and they have two daughters, Kayla and Isabella, plus two rambunctious schnauzers Max and Milo. Outside of work he has a passion for hunting, fishing and the great outdoors. When he’s not on a job site, Felix is with family and friends enjoying time together.

Trevor Rogge

Build On Your Lot Specialist – San Antonio Area

Trevor has been active in the San Antonio home building industry for 8 years.  He has been working in sales, finance, and management for over 20 years.  Trevor has a passion for helping clients build their dream homes.  He and his wife, Melissa, have two children, Dylan and Audrey.  In his free time he enjoys bass fishing and hunting.

Javier Gaytan

Build On Your Lot Specialist – San Antonio Area

Javier has lived in the San Antonio area for the majority of his life and for almost 40 years, he has been working in the construction industry. In those years, he has built up a substantial amount of knowledge and expertise in the construction industry. This allows him to be very successful in maintaining strong relationships with clients by keeping them informed on the details of each step of the construction of their new homes. In his free time, he enjoys boxing and spending time with his wife, Joan, and all of his family and friends.

Macy Jacobson

Sales/Construction Coordinator – San Antonio Area

New Braunfels is Macy’s hometown. She graduated from Canyon High School in New Braunfels. She loves the relationships she forms with the clients while helping them fulfill their dreams, and specifically the custom home process because it is different every single day. Macy is excited to expand her knowledge of real estate and enjoys navigating the challenges that come with the process of home building.

James LaNoue

Director of Construction – San Antonio Area

James has been in the construction industry for 11 years both in commercial and residential. His favorite parts of home building are meeting and working with new people, problem solving and the opportunity to build something from scratch. James prides himself on his detailed communication, honesty and effort. He is a 2012 graduate of Texas A&M with a focus on Construction Management. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Molly, daughter Evie, and son Wyatt.

Bobby Newberg

Project Builder – San Antonio Area

Bobby was born and raised in Georgetown, TX and is a graduate of Texas State University. He has over 30 years of construction management experience in both production and custom home markets.  He has two grown children, Logan and Leah.  In his spare time you can find him on the golf course.

James Beene

Superintendent – San Antonio Area

James has been in New Braunfels, Texas for much of his life, graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Business Marketing, and has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He has a great amount of knowledge in the construction of homes, having previously worked for other builders as a superintendent and joined our team around February of 2020. As a superintendent for Grand Endeavor, he isn’t afraid to get his own hands and boots dirty and do whatever he must to prioritize getting the job done. Outside of work, James loves to hang out with his friends and family, spend time on projects around the house, and enjoys watching Texas A&M football games. He can be found anywhere near the water in the summer and on the mountains snowboarding in the winter.

Corey Petri

Superintendent – San Antonio Area

Corey grew up in San Antonio, Texas and is a recent graduate from Texas A&M University with a degree in construction management. He is responsible for overseeing the construction processes of new homes while managing project scheduling and subcontractor scheduling. He has been in the construction industry for a little over a year prior to joining our team. He first entered Grand Endeavor Homes as a construction intern in which he was mentored by many of our other superintendents. Corey places a strong importance on making sure any and all loose ends are taken care of and seeks to ensure that all homeowners are happy at the end of their construction process. In his free time, Corey loves to fish and hunt.

Roy Lawlor

Superintendent – San Antonio Area

Roy is a Texas native who has lived in the New Braunfels area for the past 20 years. He is a graduate of Texas State University, with a degree in Construction Science, and has 17 years experience in the construction industry. He enjoys the problem solving aspect of the construction industry, as you have to be able to think on your feet to keep the ball rolling in the right direction. He also believes that the construction industry is a unique field where he can drive by a project years later and still take pride in knowing that he had a part in the completion of that project. In his free time, Roy enjoys time with his wife Amy, and son Jackson fishing, golfing, and being out at the ballpark.

Sam Houston

Assistant Superintendent – San Antonio Area

Sam went to Johnson High School on the far North side of San Antonio. After this, he went on to attend Texas Tech University and graduated in May of 2020 with a BBA in Business Management. He then returned to San Antonio and got into building in early 2021. What he enjoys most about the building process is seeing every trade and contractor working together in harmony. He brings a friendly attitude to all contractors involved in building a house and believes in having a good relationship with your trades. Sam is an avid hunter and fisherman, and can usually be found in Aransas Pass on the weekends if he’s not supporting his Red Raiders.
